THIN AND DANGEROUSLY FUNNY

Ryan Budds is a skinny south side Chicago native who grew up playing Nintendo and quoting The Naked Gun films. His keen sense for pop culture is derived from everyday interactions with joke producing people/machines.

In 2006, Ryan busted into comedy by winning the “Open for Dennis Miller” comedy contest sponsored by The Loop 97.9 in Chicago. Since then, he has emceed at the World Famous Improv in Chicago, as well as performed at The Hollywood Improv, Zanies, The Funnybone, Edge Comedy, and other clubs and colleges around the Midwest. He’s worked with other notable comedians including Zach Galifianakis and Christian Finnegan, just to name a few.

With an open schedule after graduating from Western Illinois University in May 2008, Ryan plans to hone his comedic skills through a strict program of writing, performing, and networking.
