Bio
Ryan Budds is a south suburban Chicago native who grew up loving comedy and the idea of performing it. His keen sense of pop culture and humor-in-everything is derived from everyday interactions with joke producing people/machines.
In 2006, Ryan busted into comedy by winning the “Open for Dennis Miller” comedy contest sponsored by The Loop 97.9 in Chicago. Since his start at Bill Brady’s Barrel of Laughs, he has performed numerous times at the World Famous Improv in Chicago, as well as The Hollywood Improv, The Skyline Comedy Cafe, and other clubs and colleges around the country. He’s a staple of Mikey-O Comedy in Chicago, as well as The Funny Business Agency all over the Midwest. He’s worked with many notable comedians including Zach Galifianakis, Christopher Titus, Greg Behrendt, and Bobcat Goldthwait, just to name a few.
With several self-produced shows and projects, along with tons of bookings all over the country, 2010 looks to be a huge year filled with lots of laughs for the young comic.
